Info"If you're blue, and you don't know where to go to, why don't you go where fashion sits? Puttin' on the ritz!" Ron took this sage advice from Irving Berlin very seriously when he dabbed pollen from a late-blooming H. 'Elegans' on H. 'Spritzer'. A resulting seedling was dubbed H. 'Ritz', and from that elegant stepper came a hybrid "dressed up like a million dollar trouper" named H. 'Predominance'. This imperious blue has formidable substance, superior form, and the length of the leaves surpasses what might be expected in hostas of that hue. The leaf backs are not inconsequential, as they are beautifully dusted in transcendent white.
