| Info | A seedling selection from a cross of Hosta 'Faith' with another hosta whose parentage includes Hosta sieboldiana, Hosta kikutii, Hosta pulchella, Hosta longipes, Hosta nakaiana, and Hosta venusta. Our effort to produce a dwarf fast-growing Hosta sieboldiana-like plant, resulted in this delightfully unique 7" tall x 20" wide hosta with thick, round, nicely pebbled leaves that emerge in spring with chartreuse-green, glossy foliage. As the growing season progresses, the foliage brightens to a luminescent white gold. Another unique trait we love is that every fold of the leaf turns a different shade of green/gold, quite unique. |
