| Info | Green, cinnamon red petioles. Round leaves are glaucous with white backs, heavily substanced, and stay green well into fall. The cinnamon red petiole extends well onto the top of the leaf blade. Wonderful, low-growing cultivar that has long intrigued collectors for its dark red scapes; makes a great rock garden subject, edger or low ground cover in the landscape; hybrid of H. longipes hypoglauca x 'Maruba Iwa' from Roy Herold. Once the most talked about red-petioled hosta in the country round glaucous gray-green leaves with white backs have good substance. The petioles are red all the way up and the color goes into the leaves. Topped with lavender flowers late usually September.
