InfoFrom hosta collector extraordinaire, Kenny Ziarek, comes this sport of Bob Kuk's 'Prairie Fire'. The heavy, pointed leaves are deeply ribbed, wavy, and twisted.
Foliage emerges green, but the leaf centers lighten through the season to rich gold. With bright light the color can turn nearly white, yet the margins remains deep green. Hosta 'Firestorm' forms a blazing, vase-like mound about 18" high and 48" across. Near-white, fertile flowers bloom in mid summer.
