Info | Sport of H. 'Gold Regal'. H. 'Independence Day' has a narrow edge of cream or yellow depending upon time in the season and location...similar to H. 'Gold Regal Margined' which is a hosta similar from Zilis. I do not know if they are identical or just similar but time will tell [JH]. Foliage mound grows 6' wide x 4' tall. Upright clumps have medium green leaves with a striking, attractive, variable, stable golden yellow edge with good substance. Lavender flowers bloom on July 4th on 5' tall, vertically straight bloom scapes. |
