From Inniswood Gardens in Ohio, this sport of H. 'Sun Glow' with rounded gold foliage and a wide deep green edge has become a hosta world favorite. The 4' wide clump is topped with medium lavender flowers on 30" scapes in late spring. One of the most spectacular hostas every introduced! Rounded green-gold leaves with a 1/2" dark green margin are slightly cupped; a plant with very good substance and near white flowers. One of the best of the newer introductions, this is a sport of 'Sun Glow', with beautiful bright gold, heart-shaped leaves with deep green margins. The foliage is nicely corrugated when mature and has good substance, forming a mound up to 4' wide. Lavender flowers. Absolutely gorgeous when mature. A sensational plant, the gold-centered, green-margined leaves have very thick substance. Near-white flowers. |
