Info | Similar pattern as 'Cynthia'. Laella was the sister of Cynthia Tompkins. Accordingly, the hosta 'Laella' is a sibling of hosta 'Cynthia'. Both share the same dramatic mottled effect. 'Laella' is a bit smaller than 'Cynthia' and the mottling is often stronger. Cynthia Tompkins made a brisk trade of selling leaves of both 'Laella' and 'Cynthia' to florists as they add a stunning quality to floral arrangements. Very scarce. |
