Info | A name was being pondered. As the story goes, they were going to call it 'Stormy Weather' but someone else used it last year. So last summer, Gary, co-owner of Naylor Creek, found the plant was ready from tc and started wondering what to name it. When he left the lab, he got in the truck and headed down the road. Maria Muldaur (who was a neighbor of his in Mendocino years ago when the song came out) started singing Midnight at the Oasis, and Gary decided then and there that Midnight at the Oasis was a perfect name for the plant...how do you like that story! |
