Info | A sport of Bill Zumbar's highly prized H. 'Halcyon' hybrid, H. 'Dress Blues'. The small-growing upright blue hosta has a wide, creamy white pattern in the center of each long narrow blue leaf. Each 18" wide upright clump is perfect for a small spot needing a feature hosta. As with all white-centered hostas, some morning sun or high filtered shade will give best results. An introduction from Bill Zumbar and is a sport of H. 'Dress Blues', blue-green leaves of superior substance have a nice white center. This plant has excellent vigor for a white centered hosta and is topped with lavender flowers midseason. Dense, small-sized mound of white-centered foliage; sport of 'Dress Blues', a seedling of 'Breeder's Choice' X a Tardiana developed by Bill Zumbar; good contrast between leaf color and margin. |
