Info | A vigorous sport of H. 'Striptease': leaves are same shape and size as its parent but have a white center. The wide dark green margins contrast beautifully with the narrow white center (leaf divided into thirds) and there is some twisting. Topped with lavender flowers. Boy, has this hosta caused quite a commotion with those who have seen it in person. This mutation of the wildly popular Hosta 'Striptease' boasts a pure white center that holds all season instead of the yellow center of its parent. Possessing the same incredible vigor, it forms a dense 2' wide clump in short order. In midsummer, the clumps are topped with 2' tall scapes of violet flowers. Chalk this one up in the "winner" category! |
