Info | A large upright cascading viridescent yellow with wavy edged leaves that come to a twisted point. Reminiscent of a yellow 'Jade Cascade'. Lavender flowers in mid-summer on sturdy scapes. Very distinctive. Rick: "'Scituate Sunrise' (Scituate, MA, is located between Plymouth and Boston along the seashore near where Rick lives). It is my 2017 introduction that was selected by the Scituate Garden Club to honor their 100th anniversary". It is a Matt Sanford cross I grew out of H. 'Dancing Queen' x 'Jade Cascade' from seed he sent a few years back and is striking in the garden as an early spring upright beacon. |
