Info | ='Minnesota Mafia'. The hosta world has its own "term of endearment" or not so endearing if they’ve out bid you! A select group of Minnesotans can often been identified grouped together during auctions at national conventions teaming up to get the highest bid in for select, rare plants. This (and perhaps other events) has generated a "term of endearment" that has been applied to these characters. Kim, a charter member of the group, has registered this wonderful springtime gold. An excellent grower forming a 22"h x 36"w clump, 5" wide x 7" long bright yellow leaves change to chartreuse in summer, and near white flowers in midseason. Sport from 'Ming Jade'. |
