Info | =undulata var. albomarginata. ='Frank Sedgwick'. ='Hauser Silver Edge'. ='Rocknoll Snow Edge'. JN: Fukurin Ohatsuki Giboushi = "leafy-scaped hosta with margin". Pointed green leaves w/white margins; lav. flws. Rapid increaser. Emerges early in Spring. Medium green leaves with white edges. Lavender flowers. A standard which is very popular as a landscape hosta. The bright green centers with nice white edges of these broadly lanceolate leaves have a graceful arching habit. Fast grower, easy to please and tolerates most garden situations. (Plant 16x12) 25-75% shade. Makes handsome clumps of large green leaves edged with broad bands of white. Lavender blooms in July. (Does have a tendency to temporarily lose variegation in a container.) |
